   Third, the market situation and development trend of titanium raw materials
As a raw material for chlorination, it has been restricted by environmental protection. In recent years, CP-B and CP-A have developed rapidly. According to statistics, in 2000, natural titanium minerals accounted for 44% of the total raw material supply, and the rest were artificial titanium-rich materials. The total supply is 45.78 million tons / year, of which the raw materials available for chlorination, illuminate, phosgene 641,000 tons, natural rutile 390,000 tons, artificial titanium-rich material 2,534,000 tons , a total of 3573 million tons. The production capacity of synthetic rutile is 10.0 million tons/year; the production capacity of Western Australia's Aluka uses Becher process is up to 480,000 tons/year.

   Fourth, domestic chlorination raw materials
The domestic electric furnace smelting high-titanium slag has a low production capacity of about 40,000 tons/year. The amount of titanium chloride used in chlorination is 19,000 tons, and the production of high-titanium slag for sponge iron and fine TiC1 4 is 20,000 tons. The high-titanium slag smelting electric furnace has a maximum of 7500kV·A and a small furnace of 1800kV·A. The increase in the production capacity of domestic chlorination titanium white and sponge titanium will drive the development of high titanium slag production plants.
For reasons of cost, the sulfuric acid titanium dioxide enterprise is not interested in acid-soluble titanium slag, resulting in no domestic production of acid-soluble titanium slag. With the implementation of the clean production method, the production of acid-soluble titanium slag by the sulfuric acid process will be mentioned on the agenda.
After many years of research and development, the rutile and high-quality high-titanium slag suitable for CP-A have not yet formed actual production capacity, and it cannot provide raw materials for large-scale and stable production of chlorination process.
