Damage to the engine of the liquefied gas forklift pressure reducing valve

The pressure reducing valve is an important part of the liquefied gas forklift. The LPG comes out of the cylinder and must be decompressed by the pressure reducing valve to become a negative pressure gas, and then can be mixed into a certain proportion to enter the engine;

Since the secondary chamber valve of the pressure reducing valve is normally closed, no gas is present in the low pressure pipe between the outlet of the pressure reducing valve and the mixer when the engine is not started.

phenomenon:

1 The engine is switched to the LPG state, and a large amount of white mist (LPG) is sprayed from the hood cover;

2 the engine can't start;

judgment:

1 a white mist emerges as a liquid LPG;

2 The pressure reducing valve is not decompressed or damaged.

analysis:

1 Since the engine is not started, the LPG comes out of the cylinder. Since the secondary chamber is normally closed, the LPG comes out through the pressure reducing valve and does not normally decompress and directly enters the mixer;

2 When the LPG without sufficient decompression enters the hood from the mixer directly and enters the engine, the engine cannot start because the gas concentration is too high.

Solution:

Remove the pressure reducing valve, replace the diaphragm of the pressure reducing valve or directly replace the pressure reducing valve assembly.
