Type of cone crusher

The cone crusher can be divided into three types according to its use, namely a cone crusher for coarse crushing, a cone crusher for medium crushing and a cone crusher for fine crushing. The coarse crusher cone crusher is also known as a cantilever type (spin back) cone crusher. The medium and fine crusher cone crusher is also called the mushroom cone crusher.
According to the shape of the crushing chamber, the medium and fine crushing cone crusher is further divided into three types: standard type (for medium crushing), medium type (for medium and fine crushing) and short head type (for fine crushing). Among them, standard and short-head cone crushers are the most widely used. The cross-sectional shape of the crushing chamber is shown in the figure below.

As can be seen from the above figure, the main difference between the three types of cone crushers is that the cross-sectional shape of the crushing chamber and the length of the parallel belt are different. The standard parallel belt is the shortest and the short head is the longest. For example, the ø2200 cone crusher has a parallel belt length; the standard type is 175 mm, the middle type is 250 mm, and the short head type is 350 mm. The function of the parallel belt of the cone crusher is to cause the ore to be crushed more than once in the parallel belt. It is therefore ensured that the maximum particle size of the broken product does not exceed the width of the parallel strip. Therefore, it is suitable for medium and fine crushing of various hardness ores.
The rotary cone crusher is a coarse crushing device used in large mines. The funnel cone crusher is a medium and fine crushing device.
