Other foreign advanced components can be used for three years without change, and domestic components may only be changed in one and a half years. This is also the reason for the low market share of domestically-made functional components.

To achieve the above objectives, the industry's key work in the future should be to greatly enhance the ability of independent innovation, improve the level of industrialization, and accelerate the upgrading of the machine tool industry.

The first is to cultivate and open up the domestic CNC machine tool market.

This includes strengthening the investigation of the needs of key areas such as the military industry, energy, ships, and automobiles, promoting the upgrading of machine tool companies' products, and accelerating the transformation of old machine tools and the elimination of backward machine tools. The implementation of the project must be linked with the high-end CNC machine tools needed to stimulate major domestic investment projects in the country, and the three-year revitalization plan for the equipment manufacturing industry arranged by the National Development and Reform Commission and the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology should be closely linked with the development of CNC machine tool measures to improve the timeliness and meet the urgent need of the national development.

The third is to do a good job in technological transformation and improve the industrialization of medium and high-end CNC machine tools.
