Error Analysis of Automatic Monitoring of Soil Moisture Soil moisture is an important part of soil and plays an important role in crop growth. China’s water resources are very scarce. Agricultural water accounts for about 70% of the country’s total water use, of which more than 90% is used for irrigation. At present, the average national irrigation water utilization rate is only 43%. It is known that the utilization rate of soil moisture in China is so low. Under the circumstance of China, the measurement of soil moisture and reasonable irrigation requirements are rigorous. The measurement of soil moisture is also gradually strengthened. Soil moisture can be measured using a soil moisture thermometer to quickly measure soil moisture and temperature.
Soil moisture thermometers can be artificially monitored, but also can be placed outdoors for long-term monitoring. There is a certain amount of error when using a quick soil moisture analyzer to measure soil moisture. Through continuous analysis and understanding, these errors are found. The main reasons are the following:
(1) Data deviation is caused by the difference between the soil moisture content of the automatic instrument probe point and the artificial soil sampling point;
The difference between the 2TZS-IIW soil moisture thermometer and the principle of manual observation caused systematic deviation.
3 The instability of the automatic station equipment itself causes the deviation of the detection data and manual observation results in rainy and light rain seasons;
4 In the manual operation, it is inevitable that the sample will lose water and artificial observation errors.
Through the analysis of some of the above errors, and appropriate reforms, there will soon be an instrument for automatic monitoring of soil moisture, whether it is functional or otherwise.
