It is reported that from January to May this year, the sales of WD615 diesel engine series of Weichai Power reached more than 70,000 units, an increase of 15.18% over the same period of last year. Entering Weichai Power in June, the hot production and operation situation continued to heat up. The truck market with structural changes to the “heavy and big” model and the steady and continuously rising construction machinery market have provided opportunities for the continued steady growth of Weichai Power. It is understood that at present, the number of orders for Weichai Power is still growing. It is initially predicted that orders for 2006 will increase by about 27% over 2005.
