The growth rate of large-scale agricultural machinery production declined in the first three quarters

In the first three quarters, the output of crop harvesting machinery decreased from 1.8% year-on-year growth of 2.8% to 1.7%; the output of large tractors decreased by 7.4%, which was a 3% increase over the first half; the output of medium and small tractors increased by 7.7% and 19.7% respectively. In the first half, it dropped 4.2 and 9.8 percentage points. In September, the output of large, medium and small tractors showed a sequential increase. According to the statistics of the Ministry of Agriculture, as of September 30, the country’s second batch of subsidies for agricultural machinery purchases totaled 4.39 billion yuan, accounting for 80% of the total amount of second batch of subsidies, and boosted local finance and farmers’ investment by 9.9 billion yuan. There are 1.35 million farm machinery and equipment (sets), benefiting 1.1 million households. The total amount of settlement funds for the first and second batch of subsidies in the country has reached 7.61 billion yuan, accounting for 91% of the total settlement of applications.
