When the deformation of specimen reaches the value you have set in the software, the testing machine will automatically stop. And it can simultaneously display test data and draw the test curves.

3. Â Â Basic Testing Operating:
3.1Â GDW Series Ring Stiffness Testing machine
i.         Put the pipe specimen on the under plate.
ii.         Operate the testing machine to begin the test. You can observe the scale plate which attached between upper and lower platen to measure the deformation.
iii.         When the scale plate reading reaches the deformation you require, then you manually stop the test.

3.2Â GDW-Z Series Computer Controlled Ring Stiffness Testing MachineÂ
i.         Put the pipe specimen on the under plate.
ii.         Enter the specimen size (like pipe OD, wall thickness and etc.) into software, set the value of deformation of specimen you require in the software and then click begin.
iii.         The testing machine starts automatically. The software can simultaneously display test data and draw the test curves. You can also adjust the test speed by computer.
iv.         When the deformation of specimen reaches the value you have set, the testing machine will automatically stop.
v.         After the flatting test has done, the upper plate will return to the initial position and wait for another flatting test.Â
