One of the passengers rushing into the middle of the line was passing through the site at that time. The train crashed into death on the spot; another passenger was accidentally fallen by the staff when he was pulled out of the railway line and was initially diagnosed as a skin injury by the hospital.
According to the relevant person in charge of the Huizhou Railway Station on the 11th, at around 20:30 on the evening of the 10th, more than 10 stranded passengers ignored the train station staff and the railway police and tried to persuade them to forcibly enter the railway line and wanted to intercept the train. As the driver of the K1039 train passing through the station made an emergency stop, a passenger rushing into the middle of the line was knocked down with a huge inertial train and died instantly. Another passenger accidentally fell and was injured when workers were pulled out of the railway line.

The person in charge said that due to flooding in the north of Jiangxi in the past few days, most of the trains passing through Jiangxi Province suffered from defects. Because the train was late and some passengers did not catch the train, several passengers expressed dissatisfaction and forcibly entered the railway line to intercept the train. Some of the stationed passengers rushed into the track after seeing someone running in.

An on-site witness said that when he saw a train approaching 30 meters, the passengers entering the railway line hurriedly ran away from the track, but some people did not have time to run away and flew in an instant.

According to reports, the K1039 train is heading toward Shenzhen from Zhengzhou, and the Huizhou train station does not stop.

After the incident, officials from the local railway departments immediately rushed to the scene to investigate the emergency disposal work and incidents. At present, it has arranged for the stranded passengers to change to other trains and contact the deceased's family to do the aftermath.
