John Deere launches EPA III marine engine

John Deere Power Systems (JDPS) has announced the launch of a new marine Tier 3 PowerTechTM 4.5-liter and 6.8-liter propulsion and generator (product library supply) drive engine (product library supply). John Deere's marine diesel engine (purchasing supply) for the US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Tier 3 requirements during the 2012 International Work Boat (Ship Shipyard) exhibition will be subject to workboats, yachts (ship type shipyards), commercial Fishing boats (ship-type shipyards trading) and other small work boat operators are favored.
The American company John Deere, founded in 1837, is famous for manufacturing agricultural production equipment. The company's two 4.5-liter and 6.8-liter propulsion and generator-driven engines meet the EPA Tier 3 regulations that came into effect on January 1, 2013. The two engines also passed the International Maritime Organization (MO) Tier 2 and EU 97/68/EC exhaust emission regulations.
The PowerTech 6068AFM85 and PowerTech 6068SFM85 marine diesel engines use a high pressure common rail fuel injection system with 4 valves per cylinder and a low temperature aftercooler (purchased from the product library). The company's 6068AFM85 marine diesel engine will be equipped with keel cooling or integral heat exchangers; the 6068SFM85 marine diesel engine will be equipped with an integral heat exchanger.
The EPA Tier 3 rule affected John Deere's 4.5-liter and 6.8-litre marine engines in January 2013. The EPA Tier 3 rules will affect John Deere's 9.0-liter and 13.5-liter marine engines starting in 2014.
4.5 liter marine engine
John Deere has added two new 4.5-liter marine diesel engines that meet the Tier 3 rules: the PowerTech 4045TFM85 generator-driven and the PowerTech 4045AFM85 propulsion and generator-driven. The PowerTech 4045AFM85 engine is the company's most powerful 4.5-litre marine diesel engine designed to meet the quiet and smooth operation of the generator set. The machine adopts a high pressure common rail fuel injection system, a single cylinder 2 valve (purchased by the product warehouse), and a keel cooling heat exchanger and an overall heat exchanger scheme are selected.
The PowerTech 4045AFM85 engine will be an option for the PowerTech 6.8-liter 6068TFM75 propulsion engine and the PowerTech 6.8-liter 6068TFM76 generator-driven engine that previously met Tier 2 requirements. The PowerTech 4045AFM85 engine will be equipped with a common rail fuel system, single-cylinder four-valve, turbocharged and air-cooled post-cooling. The machine also has a choice of keel cooling heat exchanger and integral heat exchanger.
The propulsion power of the engine includes:
The PowerTech 4045AFM85 propulsion engine covers an electric range of 119-168 kW.
The main power ratings of the generator-driven 4.5-liter engine include:
The PowerTech 4045AFM85 propulsion engine is 74 kW at 60 Hz and 1800 rpm; it is 61 kW at 1500 rpm at 50 Hz.
PowerTech 4045AFM85 Generator-driven engine: At a frequency of 60 Hz, at a speed of 1800 rpm, the power is 110 kW; at a frequency of 50 Hz, at a speed of 1500 rpm, the power is 89 kW.
6.8 liter engine
John Deere's propulsion and generator-driven engines that meet Tier 3 regulations include the PowerTech AFM 85 and PowerTech SFM 85 engines, which will cover the power range of previous PowerTech SFM 6081 AFM75 propulsion and generator-driven engines. The PowerTech 6068AFM85 and PowerTech 6068SFM 85 engines feature a high pressure common rail fuel system, a single cylinder four-valve, and a low temperature aftercooler. The 6068AFM85 engine has two options for the keel cooling heat exchanger and the integral heat exchanger. The 6068SFM 85 engine will use an integral heat exchanger.
The rated propulsion power of these engines includes:
PowerTech 6068AFM85: 172-246 kW.
PowerTech 6068SFM 85: 186-298 kW generator driven 6.8 liter engine coverage power includes:
PowerTech 6068AFM85: 166 kW at a frequency of 60 Hz at 1800 rpm and 139 kW at a frequency of 50 Hz at 1500 rpm.
PowerTech 6068SFM 85: 195 kW at a frequency of 60 Hz at 1800 rpm and 168 kW at a frequency of 50 Hz at 1500 rpm.

High Low Nozzle Overlapping Basket Filter

The high and low basket Filter is mainly composed of a nozzle, a cylinder, a filter basket, a flange, a flange cover and fasteners. It can be installed on the pipeline to remove the larger solid impurities in the fluid, so that the machinery and equipment (including compressors, pumps, etc.) and instruments can work and operate normally, so as to stabilize the process and ensure safe production.
