Global synthetic rubber demand will reach 13.4 million tons/year over the next five years

According to a research report of the United States Global Industry Analysis Corporation (GIA), global synthetic rubber consumption demand will increase from 11.4 million tons/year in 2010 to 13.4 million tons/year in 2015.

The North American region will increase from 1.562 million tons/year in 2010 to 1.229 million tons/year in 2015; Japan will increase from 1.006 million tons/year to 1.077 million tons/year in 2015; Europe will increase from 279.4 10,000 tons/year will increase to 3.067 million tons/year; Asia Pacific will increase from 5.015 million tons/year to 6.469 million tons/year; the rest of the world will increase from 1.026 million tons/year to 1.181 million tons/year.
