In 2010, driven by investment promotion and policies, China's equipment industry maintained a rapid growth in production, in which the automobile consumption has played a significant role and the benefit status was better than the overall industry. The added value of equipment industry above designated size grew 21.1% year-on-year, an acceleration of 7.3% year-on-year; and the same period in 2008 as the base period, the average growth rate of the equipment industry in the past two years was 17.4%, 0.3% higher than the growth rate in 2008. . Among them, general purpose and special equipment grew by 21.7% and 20.6% year-on-year, respectively, while instrumentation, cultural office equipment and electrical machinery and equipment manufacturing grew by 19.6% and 18.7%, respectively, and transportation equipment manufacturing grew by 22.4%.

From January to November 2010, the machinery industry realized a profit of 918.6 billion yuan, an increase of 50.6% year-on-year, an increase of 26.9 percentage points year-on-year, 1.2 percentage points higher than the total industrial level. Among them, the auto industry realized a profit of 319.8 billion yuan, an increase of 69.1%, an acceleration of 16.3 percentage points year-on-year, and 19.7% higher than the national industrial level.

The export situation gradually recovered. Throughout the year, the value of export delivery value of the equipment industry reached 1,569.3 billion yuan, which was affected by the lower base in 2009. The growth rate increased from a decrease of 13.2% in the previous year to a growth of 29.4%, an increase of 12.4% over 2008, of which the growth rate was 26% in December. According to customs statistics, in 2010, exports of mechanical and electrical products totaled 933.4 billion U.S. dollars, an increase of 30.9% year-on-year.

The production of most investment products has grown rapidly. The annual output of excavators and compaction machinery increased by 68.8% and 36% year-on-year, accelerating 54.7 and 14.2% year-on-year; the loader output decreased from 10.1% in the previous year to 45.1%; the output of cement, oil refining and chemical equipment The growth rate was 40.7% and 30.4%, respectively, an acceleration of 16.2% and 6.2% year-on-year; metal forming machine tools increased by 17.2%, an increase of 11.3 hundred points year-on-year; metal-cutting machine tools decreased from 13.6% in the previous year to 32.7%.

The production and sales of automobiles both exceeded 18 million. According to the statistics of China Association of Automobile Manufacturers, in 2010, the production and sales of automobiles reached 18,260,000 and 18.06 million, respectively, a year-on-year increase of 32.4%; the production and sales reached a record high, setting a new global record. Small-displacement passenger vehicles continue to maintain rapid growth. The production and sales of passenger cars for the year were 13.9 million and 13.76 million, respectively, an increase of 33.8% and 33.2% respectively year-on-year. Passenger cars with a displacement of 1.6 liters or less are most affected by the policies. In 2010, the sales volume of passenger cars with 1.6 liters or less was 9.46 million, an increase of 31.8% year-on-year, accounting for 68.8% of the total passenger car sales, which was 0.9% lower than in 2009. With the expectation that consumers will withdraw from preferential taxation policies for purchases, the sales in the fourth quarter are booming, with market share exceeding 70% in November and December. The market share of independent brands has increased. In 2010, the sales of self-owned passenger vehicles reached 6.27 million, an increase of 37.1% year-on-year, which was 4.7 percentage points higher than the growth rate of the entire industry, accounting for 45.6% of the total sales of passenger cars, an increase of 1.3 percentage points over the previous year; Sales of 2.93 million vehicles, an increase of 32.3%, accounting for 30.9% of the total sales of cars, an increase of 1.2 percentage points over the previous year.

According to the statistics of the Ministry of Commerce, a total of 459,000 subsidized vehicles were traded throughout the year, subsidy funds were 6.41 billion yuan, and new car consumption was 49.6 billion yuan. The average number of daily subsidy vehicles was approximately 12 times that of the average daily subsidy vehicle in 2009.

Shipbuilding achieved rapid growth. The annual completion of shipbuilding reached 65.6 million dwt, an increase of 54.6% year-on-year, of which exports accounted for 80.8%; new orders for vessels took in 75.23 million dwt, which was 2.9 times the amount of new orders received in the previous year, of which exports accounted for 75.8% As of the end of December, the number of handheld ship orders was 1.9590 million dwt, an increase of 4.1% from the end of 2009, of which exports accounted for 84.6%. China's shipbuilding completions, new orders, and hand-held orders accounted for 43.6%, 54.8%, and 41.2% of the world market share, respectively.

Driven by the agricultural machinery purchase subsidy policy, the output of large-scale agricultural machinery increased rapidly. The annual output of large-scale tractors increased by 77.7% year-on-year, medium-sized and small-sized vehicles increased by 4.6% and 19.1% respectively, the output of crop harvesting machinery reached 802,000 units, an increase of 9.5% year-on-year, and the output of on-site working machinery increased by 31.3%. As of October 31, the central government's 15.5 billion yuan in agricultural machinery purchase subsidies have been fully implemented, and a total of 5.25 million units (sets) of agricultural machinery have been subsidized, benefiting nearly 4 million households.
