Crane Expressway Technology Demonstration Project Approved

Recently, the implementation plan for the “Reserve and Recycling Technology Demonstration Project of Hefei-Dalian Expressway in Changbai Mountainous Area” was passed at the expert review meeting held by the Science and Technology Department of the Ministry of Transport.

The expert group believes that the program focuses on the theme of “resource conservation and recycling” and carries out the promotion, application and integration of scientific and technological achievements based on the concept of life cycle cost, key technologies for the construction of seasonal frozen roads, comprehensive utilization of local materials, and comprehensive utilization of waste materials. Innovation, giving full play to the support and leading role of science and technology for the development of transportation, is of great significance to improving the concept of highway construction, improving engineering technology and construction quality, and advancing the construction of a modern, transportation-friendly and low-carbon transportation system.
