China CNR Bangladesh domestic diesel unit project completed trial

Recently, for the first time, the first two trains of the Bangladesh Domestic EMU project completed the trial run of the overseas EMU project of China's fully self-developed traction and control system.
The 20-car internal-combustion EMUs supported by CNR Tang Motors Co., Ltd., which is responsible for vehicle manufacturing and CNR R&D center responsible for the development of traction and control systems, adopt advanced technologies such as AC drives and microcomputer network control, and are planned to be affiliated with Dhaka, Bangladesh. Major cities such as Chittagong and Chittagong are carrying passenger transport tasks on multiple routes to alleviate traffic congestion in Bangladesh. The first two trains crossed the ocean from China's Tianjin Port on January 17 and arrived in Chittagong Port in mid-February. After nearly a month of training and use of the crew, the first operation began on March 15.
At 9 o'clock on the March 15th, the new EMU started out from the Chittagong Station on time and began to operate between the Judas-Dhaka-Kumira. The round-trip operation was 300 kilometers and returned to Chittagong at 19 o'clock on the same day. Through the stations, many passengers and pedestrians stopped to take photos. In the first test run, in the face of high-temperature, high-humidity and other operating environments, the vehicle's "brain" and "heart" - the traction and control system performance is normal, good control performance, won the praise of operators.
