First, the working principle is as follows:
The structure of the magnetostrictive liquidometer is composed of stainless steel tube (rod), magnetostrictive wire (waveguide wire) and movable float (with permanent magnet inside). When the liquid level gauge is working, the circuit of the liquid level gauge Part of the pulsed current will be excited on the waveguide wire. When the current propagates along the waveguide wire, a pulsed current magnetic field will be generated around the waveguide wire. A float is arranged outside the liquid level measuring rod, and the float can move up and down along the change of the liquid level with the measuring rod. Inside the float there is a set of permanent magnetic rings. When the pulsed current magnetic field meets the magnetic field of the magnetic ring generated by the float, the magnetic field around the float changes so that a waveguide wire made of a magnetostrictive material generates a torsional wave pulse at the position where the float is located. This pulse is at a constant speed along the The wire was returned and detected by the detection agency. By measuring the time difference between the pulse current and the torsional wave, the position where the float is located, ie, the position of the liquid surface, can be precisely determined.
