Synthetic ester lubricated to extend the life of trowels by 50%

Quaker found that after using QUAKECOOL® 370 KLG, the boring tool life was extended by more than 50% at the same use concentration, which significantly improved the production efficiency and saved tooling costs.

A company specialized in the production of crankshafts and connecting rods for the large diesel engine industry. The discovery of cutting fluids currently in use on its connecting rod production line will reduce tool life, especially during the boring process in the connecting rod machining process. Quark's QUAKECOOL® 370 KLG is recommended for the high hardness and high lubrication requirements of the customer's connecting rod material (hot forged high-carbon alloy steel), resulting in significantly longer tool life.

After using QUAKECOOL® 370 KLG, the boring tool life was extended by more than 50% at the same concentration, which significantly improved the production efficiency and saved the tool cost. The following table is a comparison table using the QUAKERCOOL® 370 KLG with the original cutting fluid:

QUAKERCOOL® 370 KLG is a high-performance heavy-duty extreme pressure cutting fluid based on Quaker's patented synthetic ester lubrication technology. With excellent lubricity, detergency, cooling and rust resistance, it is very suitable for harsh heavy-duty processing. This product does not contain sulfur and chlorine extreme pressure additives. It not only provides excellent protection for tools and parts, but also is environmentally friendly. It can be widely used in various types of ferrous or non-ferrous metal cutting, grinding processing applications.

In the entire metal processing process, the metalworking fluid only accounts for a small part of the total cost, which is usually less than 1%. This application case illustrates the importance of the right choice of metalworking fluid. The impact of metalworking fluids on the entire production process is several times its own cost, which makes its price less important. This is why Quaker has developed high-performance products at all costs to help customers reduce production costs and increase competitiveness.

QUAKERCOOL® 370 KLG adopts a fine boring process. The material is hot forged high-carbon alloy steel C7056. Its parts are connecting rods (diesel engine), using Mapal boring burrs, and the supporting machine tool is RBT 80 (Canada) with a machining accuracy of Ra<1.0μm. The spindle speed is 1600 rpm for the large bore, and 675 rpm for the fine bore. The feeding rate is 300mm/min, the diameter of the bore hole, the large head hole is 79.5mm, the small head hole is 49mm, and the use concentration is 8-10%.

Inflatable Baby Swim Seat

The baby grows up day by day, and likes swimming every day. In order to continue the project of baby swimming, the baby's head can also be raised at that time, and he no longer likes to be strangled by the neck. The baby also needs a wider field of vision. The depth of the baby swimming pool cannot reach the purpose of the baby's swimming (the baby's feet touch the bottom of the pool). If you want to swim in the original baby swimming pool, you must increase the baby's swimming height or increase the depth of the pool. The neck is moved to the base of the thigh, which increases the height of the baby's swimming. In order to solve these two problems, the Inflatable Baby Swim Seat was created.

The Inflatable Baby Swim Seat has multiple independent airbags, and there is an anti-leakage device in the air nozzle, which is safe and reliable. The swimming ring is carefully designed, made and comfortable to wear according to the characteristics of the baby's thigh. Proper use can prolong the use time.
