Qilu chlor-alkali plant strengthens safety production control

China Drying Network Co., Ltd. Lulu Petrochemical Chlor-alkali Plant has taken various measures to ensure the safety monitoring of the major hazard sources of liquid chlorine, and has recently won high praise in the HSE safety inspection of China Petrochemical Corporation. The chlor-alkali plant diaphragm caustic soda unit has five liquid chlorine storage tanks and each tank has a maximum storage capacity of 100 tons. It is one of the major hazard sources for Qilu Petrochemical. In order to do a good job in the safety monitoring of major hazard sources, the plant implements a regular work system, and special personnel are responsible for supervising the key parts of liquid chlorine production every week and using various technical means to strengthen safety precautions. In order to ensure that emergency measures can be taken promptly when liquid chlorine leaks, the plant has set up a blind road in the liquid chlorine production plant, and regularly organizes staff to conduct accident drills to improve the ability of operators to handle accidents in a timely manner.
