First, the meter pointer indicates zero
1. When the transmitter's high-pressure conduit is blocked or leaking, when the crystal-like liquid is measured, the discharge tube is easily blocked due to the discharge of the transmitter's pressure-conducting tube or the medium is dirty or sticky. When the positive pressure side is pressed, When the pipe is clogged, the pressure of the negative pressure chamber P- is higher than the pressure of the positive pressure chamber p+, then the differential pressure Δp=p+ - p- <0, which is characterized by the transmitter output being zero.
2. Transmitter high and low voltage impulse tube connection When the transmitter high and low chamber pressure tube is reversed or the medium flow direction is opposite in the process pipeline, the output of the transmitter will display zero. When measuring with a smart pressure transmitter, it is not necessary to reinstall the high and low chamber pressure tube, just select the reverse output when configuring the parameters.
Second, the meter pointer indicates the upper limit
1. Improper use of the instrument The intelligent pressure transmitter is used for liquid level measurement. If the transmitter is always running above the high liquid level, or always running at a low liquid level, the meter may indicate that the meter is overrun. Therefore, in the actual production process, it should be ensured that the process medium is within the range of the meter, and the operator is prevented from misjudged the instrument fault.
2. Improper selection of meter range When the intelligent pressure transmitter is in use, if the range is not properly selected, the instrument will often indicate an overrun error. Especially when performing liquid level measurement, it is necessary to carry out the range migration. If the migration is not carried out, the meter measurement will be inaccurate and overrun.
Third, the instrument output indication is high or low. When the orifice plate and the transmitter are used to measure the fluid flow, after the instrument is used, the output signal is always low or high. The common causes and treatment methods are as follows:
1. The balance valve in the three-valve group is not tightly closed. When the three-valve balance valve 5 is not tightly closed, there will be a small amount of leakage, causing the high-pressure side fluid to flow to the negative pressure chamber, which reduces the differential pressure signal entering the transmitter. Because the instrument output is low.
2. If the orifice plate is reversed, the differential pressure generated by the orifice plate will decrease, and the corresponding flow rate will be small.
3. The pressure guiding tube is blocked or leaked. Check each joint and check the joints and welds for leaks. When the high pressure side pressure guiding tube leaks, â–³P=P+ - P-, the value of â–³P will be less than the normal standard value, and the meter output indication will be low. When the measured medium is prone to crystallization or polymer formation, the measurement film of the positive pressure chamber is contaminated with the polymerization crystal of the measurement medium, and the meter output indication is high.
