Determination of Sulfur Content by Sulphur Analyzer/Smart Sulfur Tester

(1) Turn on the power switch, the instrument will control the furnace body temperature automatically.

(2) Open the sulfur meter gas pump switch and check for leaks. Then adjust the gas flow to about 1000mL/min. Turn on the stirrer switch to see if the speed is right.

(3) When the furnace temperature rises to 1050°C, turn on the electrolysis switch and press the [2/Electrolysis] button to observe whether the electrolysis voltage is greater than 35mv. If less than 35mv, balance the electrolyte with the waste sample until the electrolysis voltage exceeds 35mv or Zero result.

(4) Weigh 50 milligrams of coal sample on a porcelain boat, cover a thin layer of tungsten trioxide (or tungsten oxide), place the porcelain boat on a quartz tray, press the [START] button, and type three digits. Count the weight, press the [START] button again, and the test starts.

After the start of the test, they were stopped at 500°C and 1150°C respectively. The residence time was determined according to the set input time and the time when the coal sample was completely burned. After the sample was burned, Coulomb titration was performed automatically and the entire test process was performed by the program. When the quartz tray and the porcelain boat return to their original positions, the printer prints the result and the test is completed. When you want to print the report after you have finished the parallel pattern, please re-enter the sample number and print the report automatically.

After the sulfur analyzer test is completed, the electrolytic switch is turned off, the electrolyte is discharged, and the electrolytic cell is cleaned with distilled water, and then the purification device is closed.

The sulfur analyzer test is preferably performed continuously. If the intermediate interval is long, a waste sample must be burned before the test.
