Ground control water and open pit mine water control requirements
(1) Ground prevention and control water 1. The mine wellhead and the buildings in the industrial site should avoid the areas where mudslides and landslides may occur; the elevation should be higher than the highest flood level in the local calendar year. Otherwise, dams, ditches or other measures should be taken.
2. Before the rainy season, the mine should comprehensively check the implementation of preventive measures to prevent accidents caused by heavy rains and floods.
(II) Prevention and control of open-pit mines 1. The open-pit mine surface and the anti-drainage facilities on the slopes should avoid the danger of landslides. Drains should be inspected and dredged frequently to prevent leakage, backflow or flooding. When there is a landslide area in the stope, a intercepting ditch should be provided around the landslide area. When the ditch passes through the slope section with deformation and cracks, anti-seepage measures shall be taken.
2. Groundwater dewatering should be carried out due to the increase of groundwater level and the possibility of landslides in the dumping site or stope. For slopes that are greatly affected by groundwater and have been drained and drained, observations of groundwater level, water pressure and water inflow should be carried out to analyze the influence of groundwater on slope stability and the effect of dewatering, and groundwater treatment measures should be formulated.
