A total of 10 first pure electric vehicles sold in Nanjing were manufactured by Iveco
Yesterday, Nanjing Iveco produced 10 zero-emission, zero-pollution pure electric new energy light passengers to deliver the first customers of the State Grid Tianjin Electric Power Bureau. This is the first mass-produced new energy light passenger in China and the first batch of new energy vehicles produced in Nanjing.
In the morning of the same day, at the Iveco plant in Nanjing, located in Heimoying, a background board with an emphasis on environmental protection was established - a green leaf was refitted into a car. It was before this "green car" that representatives of the Tianjin Electric Power Bureau took over the car keys from Fu Liguo, deputy general manager of Nanjing Iveco and general manager of the sales company. Subsequently, 10 cars that started the history of the Nanjing energy car industry set off from Nanjing.
Except that there is no exhaust pipe, the appearance of these new energy vehicles is no different from that of ordinary Iveco. The secret is “hidden†in an invisible place: the motor is installed under the hood, occupying the position of the original engine, and the six batteries are hidden in the car. In the body.
Just like mobile phone chargers, these electric cars are equipped with charging devices. It is connected to a 380 volt outlet and can be fully charged in 4 hours and can travel continuously for 220 kilometers (see A9 version for related reports). Its 100 kilometers of electricity consumption is about 40 degrees, equivalent to 5 liters of fuel consumption of ordinary passenger cars, and ordinary light passenger fuel consumption of 100 kilometers at least 10 liters, that is, the use of electric vehicles is only half the cost of diesel vehicles. As no large-scale production has begun, Nanjing Iveco has not announced the market price of the electric version, but generally speaking, the electric version of the model is 50% higher than that of ordinary gasoline and diesel.
This batch of electric Iveco will be used by the Tianjin Electric Power Bureau for community service, such as driving the car into the community to collect electricity charges.
Fu Liguo said that after more than two years of research and development, Nanjing Iveco became the first light commercial vehicle company to master pure electric drive technology. Although these electric vehicles are not cheap, they are not short of buyers. At present, the purchase of electric Iveco by the State Grid Corporation of China is still ongoing, and Nanjing Iveco is developing a pure electric vehicle dedicated to the Expo Park in accordance with the needs of the 2010 Shanghai World Expo.
The organizers of the World Expo have stated that it is necessary to build an environmentally friendly and ecological World Expo. For this purpose, more than 1,000 new energy vehicles may be used, 300 of which are pure electric vehicles. Last month, relevant people from the Expo Organizing Committee visited Nanjing Iveco to discuss and negotiate.
Yesterday, Iveco made its first public appearance of the first 10 pure electric light passengers. This is the first mass-produced pure electric light passenger in the Chinese market that has been put into formal commercial operation.
