The generator rotor AC impedance tester is mainly used to measure the rotor AC impedance of various synchronous generators. It can also be used as a single-phase short circuit and no-load characteristic test of power transformers and a volt-ampere characteristic test of voltage transformers and current transformers. Before we do these tests, we must be familiar with the operation instructions of the generator rotor AC impedance tester.

2. After the connection is correct, turn on the “operating power switch” and the instrument displays the main menu after the self-test.

Among them: the EQUIPMENT number - is used to distinguish different equipment, different test nature, number of times. In order to facilitate the search and technical management in historical data.
Voltage step length - refers to the value of the interval voltage value between each data acquisition when the data is taken as the reference for each parameter data acquisition; Range (5 ~ 50 V).
Large voltage - refers to the large voltage value to be tested in the test, range (0 ~ 600V), its set value of 1.1 times the instrument's default overvoltage protection action value.
High current - refers to the large current value to be tested in the test, range (0 ~ 120A), and 1.1 times the set value is the default overcurrent protection action value of the instrument.
Tip: The cursor has two modes: "â–ˆ" is the selection mode for selecting a certain data or function; "â–ƒ" is the modification mode for modifying the size of the selected data.
Each time the instrument can test 50 sets of data, when the ratio of the large voltage to the voltage step is greater than 50, the instrument will invalidate the parameter setting.

6. Adjust the regulator booster under this interface to automatically collect and display the measured values ​​of all parameters at each test point. Until the large set voltage value, the instrument buzzer sounds a prompt, indicating that the data measurement is completed. At this point the regulator should be quickly zeroed.
Note: When an erroneous operation causes the output voltage or current to exceed 1.1 times the set maximum value, the protection circuit of the instrument will act to cut off the test circuit.
7. You can also move the cursor to select “Curve” Press “Confirm” to switch the screen display to the curve coordinate interface for test operation. (The size of the curve coordinate is automatically generated according to the parameter size set by the test)
In the curve coordinate interface, the instrument automatically collects and dynamically traces all test points to generate a point-like curve (point-like curves help to find the corresponding current and voltage values). Until a large set voltage or current value is reached, the instrument emits a beep indicating that data collection is complete. At this point the regulator should be quickly zeroed.
After the regulator returns to zero, the cursor can be freely selected to view the test results under the “Data” and “Curve” interfaces; in the “Data” interface, move the cursor to select “Print” and press “Confirm”. The instrument will print the “AC Impedance Test Report”; in the “Curve” interface, move the cursor to select “Print” and press “Confirm”. The instrument will print the "AC impedance characteristic curve."
