1 Ensure the correct position of the gear teeth. The tooth shape symmetry is mainly guaranteed by the mountain to the knife. The static method should be excluded by the dynamic method for the knife. At this time, the center can be used either by the scribing method or by the cutter mark. Secondly, the axial yaw of the milling cutter, the radial runout of the workpiece, and the skew in the axial direction when the workpiece is mounted are all symmetrical, so it must be corrected.
The teeth are parallel to the workpiece axis line in the tooth width direction. Mainly by the correction to guarantee. That is, it is necessary to carefully find the parallelism of the longitudinal direction of the lower mandrel or the workpiece side of the work piece (the horizontal milling) or the height of the two ends of the workpiece (vertical milling), otherwise the teeth will be inclined.
The uniformity of the gear teeth is guaranteed by the accuracy of the main mountain indexing head and the correct indexing.
2 Ensure the correct shape of the involute of the tooth. The degree of bending of the involute varies with the diameter of the base circle. In theory, if the diameter of the base circle changes, a milling cutter should be remade to suit a certain The involute correctness on the base circle is required. In actual production, in order to reduce the number of milling cutters, eight sets of wafer gear milling cutters are generally used. The shape of the involute on the teeth is mainly guaranteed by the shape of the milling cutter blades. The milling cutters produced by the cutting tool factory are each produced according to the gear shape with the fewest number of teeth in the number. For example, No. 1 knife is manufactured according to the involute of 12 teeth, and No. 4 is manufactured by 21 teeth. Therefore, if you want to mill a 32-tooth gear, if the No. 5 knife has been damaged, you can use 6 and the knife instead of the No. 4 knife, because the involute shape of the No. 6 knife differs from the 32 teeth by only 3 teeth, and 4 The knife has a difference of 11 teeth. Obviously, the involute shape difference produced by the former is smaller than the latter.
Secondly, the clamping cutter should pay special attention to its axial oscillation and the verticality of the center line of the horizontal milling cutter to the workpiece axis. If the swing is too large, the paper can be adjusted between the washer and the side of the milling cutter or the milling cutter and the washer can be appropriately rotated by an angle.
